Fulkerson Park is committed to fulfilling the Great Commission through cross-cultural missions through sending, giving, and going.
Sending
We desire our fellowship to be an incubator for missionaries. Several among us are currently seeking the Lord's direction for their future involvement in vocational missions. Our desire is to nurture those desires and develop strong missional believers who will be used by God on the field.
Giving
We help support various missionaries and ministries in the States and around the world. These include individual missionaries, parachurch ministries, educational institutions, and a church plant. We desire to incrementally increase our overall giving towards missions so that more and more of our resources are used for ministry and missions.
Going
In addition to our desire to send vocational missionaries, we encourage our members to be involved in short-term mission trips. We are involved in short-term missions in Africa, having cultivated a relationship with Multi-Ministries International in Johannesburg, South Africa and the Back to the Bible Training College in Barberton, South Africa. We have sent several teams on short-term trips where the focus has been on training and equipping ministerial students in the skills of Christ-centered expository preaching, teaching basic theology, and providing service to the college. We also help provide Bibles and books for students of the college. If you are interested in helping with this ministry, send an e-mail through the contact us page.
