Brian G. Hedges | Elder | Pastor for Preaching

Brian rejoices that he is at peace with God, having been justified by faith in Jesus Christ. He has been married to Holly since 1996 and together they have three children – Stephen, Matthew, and Susannah. Brian has been preaching for over fifteen years and began serving as Pastor for Preaching at Fulkerson Park in 2003. Some of his primary influences include Tim Keller, C. S. Lewis, John Piper, and Martyn Lloyd-Jones, as well as the “great Johns of the faith” – Calvin, Owen, Bunyan, and Edwards. He has a passion for building the church on the gospel, preaching expositionally through Scripture, and developing future leaders. Brian also enjoys writing and is publishing his first book, Christ Formed in You: The Power of the Gospel for Personal Change, with Shepherd Press. In addition to reading and spending time with family and friends, he also likes fountain pens, iced espresso drinks, golf, and science fiction movies.
Jared Hendrickson | Worship Leader

Jared made a profession of faith when he was seven years old, but the real wrestling with fear and trembling began in college. At age twenty, after two years of deep purging, he was soundly converted to Christ. Jared is married to Loni and has three children – Josiah, Aylwin, and Jedidiah. He has been involved at Fulkerson Park since 2007 and joined the staff as worship leader in 2008. He is also an Apple Certified Support Professional and enjoys lots of things in small measures – a bit of golf, a bit of motorcycling, a bit of woodworking, etc. But he especially enjoys soaking up time with his wife and kids.
AJ Newell | Minister to Students

AJ initially placed his faith in Christ as a young boy while growing up on the mission field in Indonesia. Shortly after attending Moody Bible Institute (2000-2004), where he earned a degree in Bible-Theology, he married his wife Sarah with whom he has two children - Katelynn and Judson. In 2005 he moved to the Niles area and has been involved in the ministry of Fulkerson Park since then. Besides serving as our Minister to Students, AJ currently serves full time as a facilities engineer and youth program director for a local camp ministry. If you catch him in his free time he might be fishing, playing guitar or working with his hands.
Jeff Norris | Elder

Jeff became a Christian as a teenager. In 2003, God did a reviving work in his life, resulting in a surge of spiritual growth and transformation. Since then the gospel has become the center of his life and ministry. He has been married to Renee for twenty years, and they have four children – Jessica, Nathaniel, Peter, and Joshua. After careers in the military and in engineering with Motorola, Jeff now serves as Director of Development for Life Action Ministries. He joined the elder team of Fulkerson Park in 2008 and serves the body through teaching, shepherding, and administration.
Wes Ward | Elder

Wes became a believer as a child and has been serving the Lord in full-time ministry for over twenty years. He is the Director for Media for Revive Our Hearts, a parachurch women’s ministry. He and his wife Carrie have four children – Graham, Maggie, Benjamin, and Emma. Highly committed to the local church, Wes became involved in Fulkerson Park in 2003 and has served in a variety of roles – teaching, leading in worship, and overseeing children’s ministry. He became an elder in 2008 and approaches the shepherding role with a heart for the gospel, prayer, and people.
Del Fehsenfeld | Elder

Del was trained as a counselor and now serves with Life Action Ministries as an editor and speaker. Del enjoys time with friends and drinking good coffee – preferably at the same time. His passion is encouraging people in the process of change. Del and Debra have four children, Shepard, Karia, Chalissa, and Sol. Del serves Fulkerson Park through preaching, teaching, and counseling and joined the elder team in 2009.
